前國務卿鮑威爾（軍階四星上將）是很正直又是極少數受到尊敬的美國軍人及政客，只因為以小布希政府國務卿的身份，在安理會持一小瓶洗衣粉，向全世界指控這是伊拉克的大規模殺傷武器的證據，一世英名毀於一小瓶洗衣粉。
謊言揭穿以後，從此全世界提到他都會加上一段「那個用一小瓶洗衣粉發動侵略戰爭的鮑威爾」，英名全毀，從此落為無名的芻狗，也讓他懊悔一生，可見世間還算有公理。
但是真正發動戰爭的元兇大小布希，父子各發動一次伊拉克戰爭，卻無人指責，可能鮑威爾是黑人，容易拿來做替罪羔羊。
川普以惡毒的用詞痛罵鮑威爾，說明川普才是更低劣的政客。

A day after the death of Colin Powell, former President Donald Trump attacked the one-time secretary of state as a fake Republican and an unreliable diplomat who helped lead America into the Iraq War.
“Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the fake news media,” Trump said in a statement released Tuesday.
Trump also bashed Powell, “a registered Republican, but always being the first to attack other Republicans."
He ended the comment with “[Powell] made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!”
